@mokuroots is a farm-to-table, zero-waste restaura @mokuroots is a farm-to-table, zero-waste restaurant in Lahaina that opened in 2018 and has won local and national awards ranging from Maui's Best Healthy Choice to Most Innovative Menu to Most Sustainable Restaurant and ranked in the top 25 for best burgers on Yelp for all of the US.
🌱
Chef Alexa Caskey started Moku Roots with a friend to provide delicious savory plant-based food made from local ingredients especially those with cultural significance such as kalo and 'ulu after being frustrated with plant based options at other restaurants. Chef Alexa has been vegetarian since 2005 and an avid farmer and gardener for about as long. Especially with the fragility of food security in Hawai'i, she is driven largely by trying to promote and support local agriculture.

We are so happy to have Moku Roots host a Dinner & Comedy on Saturday, May 27th, as part of #GrowSomeGoodRestaurantWeek!
