Makawao Elementary has a taro patch!! A big mahalo Makawao Elementary has a taro patch!! A big mahalo to Uncle Bobby and to a local flower estate for donating mulch. And mahalo to Leeward Haleakalā Watershed Restoration Partnership for helping haul the mulch. 🤗 The school is now growing several varieties including an 'ele 'ele, 'o'opukai, and mana 'ulu! 💚
