PLANT SCIENCE for Grades 3-5

All plants have the same main parts but there is much diversity when it comes to shape, size and color; this is because the plants and plant parts are specifically adapted to the environment in which they live.

We’ll learn more about the 6 stages of a plant life cycle and understand how seeds are dispersed. And we’ll learn different ways for plants to reproduce other than through seeds.

Through photosynthesis, plants and animals, including humans, play mutually beneficial roles in one another’s lives.

The process of pollination is critical to the continuation of the plant lifecycle; learn how it happens and the special adaptations plants and animals have made to survive.
