Part of our Kumu Mea Kanu project, these kits are designed for 6th-8th grade.
This project’s goal is for students to learn what it means to live sustainably, and what actions we can take to make sustainable choices in our lives, particularly when it comes to our food.
As we journey through this project, students will be growing plants that have lessons to teach us in two key concepts of sustainability: resiliency and reciprocity.
At the end of the 6 week project, students have the opportunity to donate their plants back to Grow Some Good to be redistributed to members of our Maui community.
Below are the weekly activity videos that accompany the kit project.
