Donate Through a Donor Advised Fund

Recommending a grant from your donor advised fund is a simple, powerful way to support our work cultivating a healthy community in Maui County. Your gift strengthens local agriculture and improves access to nutritious, affordable food for all.

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend grants to Grow Some Good and other qualified charities.

How to Recommend a Grant

You can recommend a grant to Grow Some Good directly through your DAF sponsoring organization’s online portal, using our legal name (Grow Some Good) and Tax ID (EIN) 46-4364775.

You can also give through our one-time donation portal: select your gift amount, follow the prompts to the payment method step, then choose DAF Pay from the list of options and follow the instructions to complete your grant.

Create a Lasting Legacy of Giving

You can also create a lasting legacy by naming Grow Some Good the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending grants to charitable organizations. Contact your fund administrator for a beneficiary form.
